Questions & answers
MindDrop FAQ: privacy, ADHD-friendly journaling & pricing
Is my journal private?
Yes. Your entries are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to your signed-in account. You can also add your device's biometric unlock for another private layer.
Does the AI see my name, or train on my entries?
The reflection system receives your entry and mood — not your real name or email address. The AI providers used to create reflections do not use your entries to train their models.
Can I delete my entries or my account?
Yes. If you delete an entry, it is removed permanently. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data. See the Privacy Notice for details.
Is MindDrop an ADHD-friendly journal?
MindDrop was designed to lower the effort of starting: 28 tap-based mood prompts including a blank page, quick voice entry, unlimited posts, unstructured writing that's fine as it is, and graph-based patterns over time. There are no up-front profiling questions. MindDrop supports self-reflection; it does not diagnose or treat ADHD.
Can I speak instead of typing?
Yes. Some days writing is hard — you can record your drop by voice, or use your device's built-in keyboard mic.
What does the free trial include?
7 free drops with every feature included. No card required.
How much does MindDrop Pro cost?
After your seven free drops, Pro gives unlimited journaling for US$8.99/month or US$89.99/year. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout by Paddle, our payment provider.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
You can cancel anytime from Manage billing, and no further charges occur once you cancel. MindDrop offers a full refund within 30 days of any Pro purchase or renewal.
Is MindDrop therapy or medical care?
No. MindDrop is a tool for self-understanding — not diagnosis, treatment, or a replacement for professional care.
